Feeling like you need to do something to preserve the small-scale, village atmosphere of Kensington?

  • Write or email Toni Atkins and tell her that you are disappointed that she did not represent the interests of over 1,000 constituents who told her that this development is inappropriate for Kensington.   
  • Check out Form 460 to see who is donating to Todd Gloria's campaign.  It reads like a Who's Who from the BIA. We don't need more developer friendly politicians in City Council!  Just say no to Toni's anointed boy.

  • Write letters to the editor of the Union-Tribune and The San Diego Reader
  • Contact other media outlets, such as KPBS radio, These Days and Editors’ Roundtable producers.
  • Please donate to the legal fund!  Keep our war chest pumped for action!

Help other neighborhoods fight off bad development:

Get involved in championing the effort to create the Kensington Historical District.  Write or call Toni Atkins and Mayor Sanders and insist that a historical resources survey of Kensington be done in time for the celebration of Kensington's 100th anniversary.  Find info on historical surveys and districts, and the Mills Act here...
